Ryan Hilton, 23, is accused of attacking 61-year-old Mark Roberts during an incident in Bangor, North Wales, on March 3.

Hilton, from King Street, in Muston, Filey, denies assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

His trial had been due to take place today but Caernarfon magistrates were forced to adjourn the matter because witnesses and evidence were not prepared.

Bench chairman Brian Jones bailed Hilton until March 19 next year when his trial will take place at Pwllheli Magistrates' Court.

Carnage UK has drawn criticism over apparent excessive drinking by students taking part in the company's pub crawls across the country.

Last month, Sheffield student Philip Laing, 19, escaped jail after being photographed urinating on a war memorial during a Carnage UK event.
