Boyzone.

Boyzone.

Legendary pop pin-ups Boyzone are ready to roll back the years with a date at Leeds Arena.

The Irish heart-throbs have announced they will be playing the £60m venue on Monday, December 9, as part of their twentieth anniversary tour.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 9am this Thursday, priced £35.50.

A pop-up box office will also be open at Leeds Town Hall from 9am to 1pm on Thursday. (Feb 14)

The main phase of construction work on the Leeds City Council-backed arena is due to finish next month.

It will then be handed over to operator SMG Europe for its interior fit-out.

Experts estimate the arena will generate around £25m a year for the Leeds economy.

Sir Elton John will open the 13,500-capacity venue on September 4.

Other acts lined up to play the arena before the end of the year include Kaiser Chiefs, Andrea Bocelli, Micky Flanagan and JLS.
