Fundraisers will be in the pink today to help the fight against breast cancer.
Birstall’s shops and traders are spending a week supporting the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign by decking out their premises in colour.
Last year the village was praised for its efforts by judges from the campaign, who travel the length and breadth of the county in search of all things pink.
They will be back again to cast their eye over the area as traders are promising things will be pinker than ever.
Everyone is invited to get involved by trimming up their windows, hanging up decorations and blowing up balloons to show their support.
The campaign judges are due to visit Birstall on Thursday.
