Big Brother is 'big blunder' - survey says
Reality TV has been listed alongside the atom bomb as one of the worst ideas of all time.
Capital punishment, plastic bags and the credit card also came out as the least-popular innovations in the survey.
The wheel, the internet, penicillin, equal rights for women and the Pill were named the greatest ever ideas and innovations.
Leonardo da Vinci was the person responsible for the greatest ideas in the research to celebrate Museums and Galleries Month.
Almost a fifth of people, including 16-24 year olds, named reality TV as the worst idea of all time. The new series of Big Brother starts on June 5.
