Technology students at a Beeston school are the first to experience the cutting edge future of learning in Leeds.
Young people at Cockburn College of Arts are learning in the first classrooms built under the 250m Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme, which will transform 14 of the city's secondary schools into some of the country's best learning environments.

The three roomextension contains state-of-the-art technology workshops, where traditional work benches sit alongside a graphics suite, e-beams and computer-controlled lasers.
It is a major milestone in phase one of the project, which will see Cockburn, along with Temple Moor, extensively refurbished with some new build, while Allerton High, Allerton Grange, Pudsey Grangefield and Rodillian will be completely rebuilt.
The work will be completed in late 2008 or 2009 . A further half dozen schools will be completed over the next two years.
Colin Richardson, headteacher at Cockburn College of Arts, said: "It is fantastic that we are now getting the facilities to match our aspirations for Cockburn, our young people and the local community.
"The new technology block has really whetted our appetite, showing how much potential this project has to give our young people even better opportunities."
Coun Richard Harker, executive board member for children's services, said: "The BSF programme will give over 16,000 of our city's young people fantastic facilities where brilliant teaching and learning can flourish."
Leeds City Council, Education Leeds and the government's Partnership 4 Schools have joined forces with the Interserve- led consortium Environments 4 Learning (E4L) to design, build and maintain the facilities, andRMEducation plc to provide the latest in education-led technology to support teaching and learning in the BSF schools.
Leeds successfully bid to be in the first wave of the BSF programme to rebuild or renew all 3,500 secondary schools in England and, despite the size of the project,
was one of the first authorities to begin work on site.
Chris Edwards, chief executive of Education Leeds, said: "This project is bringing some of the most innovative and inspiring facilities in the country to Leeds. We have already attracted nearly half a billion pounds worth of investment in the city's schools.
"We will continue to explore any opportunity to give even more of our children and young people the brilliant learning environments they deserve."
