Friends of M62 smash victim Rebecca Caine will be able to pay special tribute to their lost loved one at her funeral.
Farewell messages written by people who knew the tragic 20-year-old will be buried with her, it has been announced.
Pals wanting to contribute their own messages can take them to funeral directors George Brooke Ltd at 14 Sharp Street, Dewsbury.
Rebecca’s funeral will be held at 11am on Tuesday at St Peter’s Church in her home village of Birstall, near Batley. Burial will follow in Birstall Churchyard at 11.45am.
As previously reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, Rebecca died in a head-on crash on the M62 near Rochdale on Sunday.
She was a back seat-passenger in a Chevrolet Matiz that was hit by a Renault Megane going the wrong way.
Asylum seeker Wilfred Museka appeared at Bury Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with causing Rebecca’s death by dangerous driving.
Museka, a 31-year-old Zimbabwean who has been living in Manchester, is also accused of driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court on October 8.
Rebecca, known as Becky, leaves behind her mother, Susan, and Susan’s partner, Russell, as well as father Tim and his wife, Joanne.
The University of Leeds business student and aspiring model also had a twin brother, Jack, and a younger sister, Emma.
In a statement earlier this week, the family described her as “their little angel”.
They said: “Our lives are shattered and our hearts are broken. She was a beautiful girl with her whole life ahead of her. She was our little girl now she is our little angel.”
