E-fit of a man suspected of exposing himself to families in Harehills Park.

An elderly man has exposed himself and performed indecent acts in front of two families in a Leeds park.

Police have released an e-fit image of the suspect who is believed to have exposed himself to a child, mother and grandmother at Harehills Park in Coldcotes Avenue on July 11 at around 2pm.

The suspect, described as being around 70 years old, was involved in a similar incident that involved a child and its mother on July 22 just after 10am.

The man is thought to be around 5ft 6ins to 5ft 7ins tall with short grey or balding hair. On both occasions he was wearing beige trousers and is believed to be a frequent visitor to the park and could live locally.

Police Constable Chris Russell, from Gipton and Harehills Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “These two incidents were particularly distressing for both families, particularly as they both had a young child with them at the time. To experience something like this is extremely unpleasant and upsetting.”

Anyone with any information that may help police track down the suspect should call PC Russell on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
