So her talent is being promoted here by the release of a video made by Bradley.tv of Monarch House, Queen Street, Leeds.

The video, Be My Baby, will have separate premieres in the UK, Pakistan, and Norway where she is also a well-known pop star.

The four-minute film was shot at 10 locations in central London earlier this month.

Nick Bradley, director at Bradley TV, said: "We were thrilled to receive this commission from the other side of the world – a film brief to launch the UK career of an Asian pop sensation.

"We had full creative licence for the production which will be seen by millions of people worldwide, thanks to her huge global following.

"Everyone is pleased with the final cut and how it portrays Annie's persona and music style. We are sure it will help her rocket to stardom in the UK."

In 2005, Miss Khalid wrote a catchy song called Mahiya ("baby/darling") which became an overnight hit in Pakistan. She has since won numerous awards and was signed as the face of Pepsi Pakistan. This year she modelled at Pakistan Fashion Week.

Bradley.tv specialises in a range of film services including music, videos, TV and cinema commercials, animation, lifestyle films and corporate videos. Clients include the BBC, BP, William Hill and Google.
