Calling all movie lovers – the 14th Leeds Young Film Festival kicks off next Monday. (March 25)
The event runs until Friday, April 5, and features cinematic treats old and new.
Blasts from the past include Beetlejuice, The Birds and the 1933 version of King Kong.
New picks include a preview screening of Disney fantasy film The Odd Life of Timothy Green (click on the play button to watch a trailer) starring Jennifer Garner, CJ Adams and Joel Edgerton, pictured, at Hyde Park Picture House on Thursday, March 28.
The festival is being presented by Leeds City Council and award-winning movie enthusiasts group MediaFish.
Festival director Martin Grund said: “For our 14th edition we have again searched the planet to bring the best new and unseen films to Leeds, along with some fantastic workshops and masterclasses. It’s never been a better time to be a young film fan or film-maker in the city.”
