13m Corrie viewers will see Leeds designers' stunning wedding gown

THESE pictures give Corrie fans a sneaky peek at Molly and Tyrone's wedding – and the stunning dress created by a Leeds designer.

Award-winning talent James Steward, who has designed clothes for style icons including Victoria Beckham and Kylie Minogue, made the beautiful gown for Molly Compton – played by Vicky Binns.

She is set to tie the knot with fianc Tyrone Dobbs, played by Alan Halsall, on Monday in Coronation Street but in line with true soap opera tradition, the day does not go according to plan.

In fact, according to ITV, viewers will be left wondering whether or not the pair will make it up the aisle.

James, who made the gown at his Farsley home, said it had been hard work creating the ornate gown but he was hoping it would be worth it when he sees it on the TV screen.

"I'm really excited.

"I just hope there's a good view of it."

He added: "It's also a bit scary because there's going to be 13 million people judging it."

The 32-year-old revealed he had to design it differently to a normal wedding dress which is usually only worn once, as he said Vicky had to wear it for filming over two weeks.

So rather than making a fleeting appearance in one episode, the gown is set to star in the double episode on Monday and Wednesday's programme.

James designs ready-to-wear collections for Aqua Couture in the Victoria Quarter and also has his own bridal wear company.
