Your chance to help the planet and win top prizes
Runners in the first Tree-athlon at Temple Newsam Park next month will get the chance to win a variety of exciting prizes - including dinner with newsreader Jon Snow.
The event takes place on Sunday, September 23, and the funds raised will go towards planting trees in Leeds.
This is your chance to help the planet by raising money to plant more trees which we all desperately need to combat the affects of climate change.
Organised by the charity Trees for Cities, the Tree-Athlon is a three-part event for tree lovers of all ages and levels of fitness made up of a 5km run, an urban 'tree wish' and a fashion swap.
Simply bring along a clean item of clothing you no longer want, and take away something you do! All left over clothes will be donated to a relevant charity.
All runners will be entered into a raffle and the Top Prize is an all expenses paid trip to London including dinner with Mr Snow, including train fare and a night in a London hotel.
The top fundraiser will have a woodland named in their honour, and the runner up will have a tree dedicated to them. The top six will win one year supplies of Alpro soya products, a one year subscription to Grazia and a luxury set of Kiehl's skin care products.
Every runner who raises over 500 will bag a Discovery set of Kiehl's products with the highest placed finishers winning trophies and bottles of Paolo Alto wine.
Councillor John Procter, Executive Board Member for Leisure, said: "Trees for Cities have provided some great prizes for those taking part in the Tree-Athlon, but the real benefit is raising the money for more trees in cities. I'm sure Jon Snow will have some fascinating stories to tell the lucky winner!"
