Woman dies in Leeds house fire VIDEO
A serious house fire claimed the life of an elderly Leeds woman today.
Firefighters and police were called to the house on Lower Wortley Road in Leeds 12, just after 4.30am today.
Details of the fire were not available this morning and police said they were waiting for specialist fire investigation officers to attend the house.
But a police spokesman today confirmed that the blaze had resulted in a fatality.
