Wildlife mural at Headingley primary
Children at Spring Bank Primary School in Headingley have created a wildlife mural which has just been erected on their school grounds.
The mural depicts the plants and wildlife to be seen in and around the school and has been made by all the children in Reception, Year 1,2 and 3.

The mural started during the school's annual Science and Nature Week in the summer. During this week, when Countryside Rangers work with all classes in and around the school's grounds, children made drawings and sketches.
These were used as inspiration for the mural which has involved over 100 children
A teaching assistant at the school and Headingley resident Glynis Dickson worked on the mural in the autumn term with children in small groups.
The mural was put up, free of charge, in half term by the school's PFI provider, Carillion.
Michael Brawley, headteacher at Spring Bank Primary School, said: " We are delighted with the mural. It is the result of team work and talent, both of the children and Mrs Dickson.
"The children are over the moon with the result and proudly point out parts they completed. We have also installed benches and planters by the mural making it a lovely outdoor learning facility."
