Stolen gear found on east Leeds traveller's site
Stolen plant equipment and motorcycles worth £36,000 have been recovered from a traveller's encampment in east Leeds.
Police swooped on the site, which when set-up on the former Copperfield's College in Cross Green, 200 local junior rugby players with nowhere to play, after an anonymous phone call.

Officers were alerted after someone saw what they believed to be a stolen 20,000 mobile generator on the site.
Police found the generator which had been stolen from a building site near Leeds University .
Adjacent was a Mercedes van holding two stolen motorbikes that had been taken during a burglary in Lancashire on July 27.
The sports motorcycles - one a Suzuki GSXR - and both worth more than 8,000 pounds.The van was also uninsured and was also seized.
After forensic examination the motorbikes and the generator will be returned to their owners.
A 34-year-old man was also arrested in connection with the finds by West Yorkshire Police and was bailed into the custody of the Lancashire Constabulary.
Insp Jackie Hawkes, who leads the Burmantofts and Richmond Hill Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "This arrest demonstrates the value of successful community policing.
"We will always follow up information from the public and in this case we have been able to recover a substantial amount of stolen property."

Leeds City Council have tried and failed three times to take court action against the encampment after 60 caravans had gathered on pitches used by youngsters from East Leeds ARLFC since May.
Club chiefs have been faced with a desperate search to find alternative facilities for training and matches before the new season gets under way.
