West Leeds Ladies are a new team starting in wortley. The team train on Thursday nights. The tyeam is known as Palecats in the 5-aside leagues that they play in. We are searching for new players to join.

The club was founded in 1952 and boasts five open age teams as well as a thriving junior section.

* Club chairman is John Baldwin (previously of Baldwins Builders fame, now taken over by Connaught).

* Junior girls play varying grades of Rep cricket, as well as junior males being regulkar in district rep sides.

* Overseas players this year is Peter Petricola.

* Notable overseas players of the past(since 2000) include Matthew Bell and Iain O'Brien (Both New Zealand Test players).

* The club has around 150 members, and runs a football side at the Barry Jackson Ground(the name of the grouns, named after the first x1s captians late Grandfather, who helped build the club amongst other current members).

* The 1st X1 play in the in the Premier division of the Central Yorkshire League -one of the better leagues in the country, and 3/4/5th team in the Dales council league.

* The club is sponsored by UK Trade Servvices this year (UKTS), a local company based in pudsey that import a wide range of goods specialising in commercial and domestic Ceramics.
