Dog owners who can't bear to leave their pets home alone all day are now using doggie daycare in Horsforth.

Jasmine Headley leaves her basset hound Bogart at the Clayton Cottage Pet Hotel in the town three days a week.
She said: "My partner and I had wanted a dog for ages but had always been put off because we both work full time.
"However, when we found out about 'doggie daycare' it seemed like the perfect solution and we decided to get Bogart!"

The 28-year-old, who works at fuse8 public relations, Leeds, added: "I'd hate to leave him home alone and he seems to really like it there. He's definitely a pampered pooch, but he's so cute he's worth it!"
Malcolm Fozard, who runs Clayton Cottage and owns 16 dogs himself, said: "They love it because they're not sat at home by themselves. A dog likes a bit of freedom and they like to go out and that's what they're given here."
The kennels has 2.5 acres of land for daily "walkies" plus a compound where the dogs can stretch their legs and if they're sociable, mingle with other regulars.
