Food, drink, music, drama and face painting were just some of the skills celebrated at the 12th Chapel Allerton Arts Festival.
Doors were open at venues across the village including Severn Arts,
Chapel Allerton Library, Chapel Allerton Methodist Church and the School of Philosophy.
Taster sessions in squash and philosophy were also on offer, but a lot of the action could be found on the streets.
Highlights included stilt walkers, morris dancers, wandering minstrels and baby ballet.
Anna Wellard, festival director, told Chapel Allerton Today she believed more than 8,000 guests took part over the weekend.
Resident James Newman, 31, who was at the festival on Saturday night, confirmed that it was the busiest he had ever seen the festival.
Will Tristram, one third of a historical comedy trio, performed over the weekend. He said: "We exploded the myths about duelling. It was well received by kids and adults, and culminated in a sword and dagger fight."
