I am trying to trace my army buddy Jack Blakey.
I know that he lived and worked in his father's butchers shop on Dufton Approach somewhere around 1956.
He will be about 72 years of age now. Any information anyone could give me would be most helpful in my search to find Jack.

It was just today that I found out that a John Hill was born in 1808 or near in Seacroft. I haven't been able to find his father as yet.
I just wondered if anyone had any information on the Hill family of Seacroft.
I have a few census returns on him. I also have links to the smith and vince family of Barwick in Elmet, so it all fits into place. John married a Mary and they had quite a few children, including having a child at 48.
John was 60 at the time, and they say that having children at an early age was new thing. Any help you have would be fantastic.
