As youngsters growing up in Roundhay, Roger and Tommy Hartley looked like two peas in a pod.

And as the cheeky identical twins celebrate their 80th birthdays, not much has changed.
The pair, who were brought up in Roundhay, used to run rings around their teachers by stealing the other's identity to get out of scrapes – and even to gain more pocket money.
And as they celebrated their 80th birthdays at a party at La Laconda restaurant in Collingham, they were still entertaining their families with brotherly squabbles and stories of their past.
Tommy, the younger twin by five minutes, said: "We've always been there for each other but we've had our own lives.
"We did argue and fight but if we were arguing with each other and somebody else waded in, we'd forget our own argument and go after him instead. It was an instinct."
Roger added: "We've never had any psychic connections or anything like that but we've always been close.
"In many ways, we're very different and we've led separate lives but there's always been a special bond between us."
Although the brothers now live hundreds of miles apart – Tommy stayed in Leeds and lives on Lambert Drive, Roundhay, while Roger moved to Sutton Coldfield more than 40 years ago – they always stay in touch and regularly speak on the phone.
Among the relatives at the party were Tommy's son David, 50, Roger's wife Frances, 77, his two children Nigel, 52, and Fiona, 51, and two grandchildren, Lindsay, 21, and Robert, 19.
