Rothell Leisure Centre will be showing off its new look after being given a makeover.

The council-managed centre off Wakefield Road, Oulton, has undergone a series of changes over the last six months including the creation of a new fitness room.

The work has been carried out in line with the continuous improvements

being made to council-managed leisure centres all over the city which has included the openings of new centres at Armley and Morley earlier this summer.

To celebrate the completion of the improvements, the centre will be running a special 'bring a friend for free' promotion throughout September.

Any current Bodyline member can take a friend who has not used the centre before with them to an unlimited number of gym sessions for free following an initial induction at any time during the month.

Leeds City Council executive member for leisure Coun Adam Ogilvie said: "We are really pleased that these improvements at Rothwell Leisure Centre are due to be completed and we hope customers will appreciate the changes and take advantage of the special offer in September and bring a friend.

"We are committed to improving all our leisure centre facilities across the city and are determined to keep raising the standards."
