Association chairman Lily Woods told Seacroft Today: "It is a real shame that someone could do something as pathetic as this, but we want them to know it has not affected us in the least.

"We will continue with our work here, if someone was trying to spite us they have failed. Hopefully the police will be able to track them down."

* Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to contact the police on 0845 60 60 60 6.
