Peter Hedge, of Chatsworth Road, carried out "calculated and systematic" abuse while working as a curate and a vicar at two West Yorkshire churches.
Last week he was jailed at Bradford Crown Court for 14 years for a total of 36 offences against six boys.
A further alleged victim of Hedge, 47, has come forward. He is being represented by lawyer Richard Scorer who says he suspects there may be many more victims of Hedge.
Mr Scorer, a partner at Manchester firm Pannone LLP, said: "This victim has suffered greatly and has only felt able to report the abuse since publicity on the case.
"Very often children who have been abused hide the fact for years and it is distinctly possible there are other victims who have not come forward because they feel shame."
Hedge carried out his attacks while working at St Margaret's Church in
Thornbury, Bradford, and Holy Trinity Church in Queensbury.
The Diocese of Bradford said it had reviewed its procedures since the
offences came to light and now had stringent policies in place.
