Project Horsforth: Have your say on issues
Time is running out for Horsforth residents to voice their concerns about a project to crack down on crime and grime in their streets.
Project Horsforth was set up last year to make the town a safer place to live after a survey by local police officers showed that residents had low confidence in community safety.

Different agencies including the police, Leeds West North West Homes, youth services, ward councillors and Horsforth Town Council joined forces to combat local issues to restore confidence.

Residents will be able to have their say about the project and whether any grot spots have been missed at a meeting on Tuesday, July 27.
Insp Richard Coldwell, of the north west outer policing team, praised the difference the project has made to the streets of Horsforth.
He said: "There has been an awful lot of activity from a policing point of view and it is about people working together through the different partner agencies to provide sustainability.
"Horsforth was highlighted as an area with low confidence but the crime statistics show that it is one of the nicest places in Leeds with a very low crime rate.
"Project Horsforth has been a success and this is a chance for people to come forward is there is anything we have missed."
Last year some of the main issues that were targeted by police surveys showed that residents were worried about:
* Teenagers hanging around the streets;
* Noisy vehicles, dangerous drivers and boy racers;
* Drunk and rowdy behaviour in public places;
* Vandalism to property and vehicles;
* Environmental issues such as dog fouling;
* Wanting to see a higher police presence;
* Inconsiderate and illegal parking;
* Certain areas feeling unsafe because of poor lighting.
Insp Coldwell added: "It is the last chance for people to come along and tell us their thoughts."
The public meeting will be held at St Margaret's Church Hall on July 27, between 2pm and 7pm.
