Police close down betting scam targeting east Leeds bookmakers
Police have closed down a betting scam targeting a bookmakers in east Leeds.
Police say the scam involved fraudulent winnings which were claimed on at least 42 occasions from the same betting office.

Officers are also believed to be investigating the possibility of other betting frauds against the office of William Hill on Cross Green Lane, Cross Green, Leeds.
It is understood that the main fraud involved the submission for a second winning payout of automated and bar coded betting receipts.
It is believed the total fraud is worth about 2,000.
Detectives investigating the fraud have arrested a 20-year-old Leeds woman.
She is in police custody.
