Oakwood Primary: Stars' junk helps to raise school funds
Modern art is often accused of being rubbish - but that's exactly what pupils at Oakwood Primary School were aiming for.
Leeds-born author and playwright Alan Bennett, comedian Stephen Fry and Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles all sent some of their rubbish to the school after letters were sent out to famous people asking them to donate their junk.

The children, aged between three and five, used the rubbish to create a sculpture which will be sold to raise funds.
An exhibition of their Junk for Joy art also included paintings, drawings, models and dancing, much of it on the themes of the natural world and recycling.
And Oakwood has not just had a load of rubbish in the post from celebrities - it has also received letters of support from the Queen, Prince Charles, Gordon Brown and Doctor Who's David Tennant.
