Manston: Youth club gets £300 early Christmas present
Christmas has come early for local youngsters thanks to a £300 gift for play equipment.
Leeds City councillors Peter Gruen, Pauleen Grahame and Suzi Armitage (Lab, Crossgates and Whinmoor) have handed over some of their MICE (Members' Improvements in the Community and Environment) money to Christ Church youth club, Manston, to help buy craft materials, refreshments, toys and games.
Coun Grahame said: "I hope this money means even more of our children will be able to use the facilities in the future."
