Leeds beauty misses out on Miss England 2010 crown PHOTO GALLERY
A Leeds beauty beat off dozens of hopefuls to make it into the list of the top twenty stunners in the country.
Katie Farr, who was crowned Miss Leeds earlier this year, battled it out with regional winners to try and claim the title of Miss England.

But the 22-year-old from Horsforth missed out on the title which went to law student Jessica Linley from Nottingham at the beauty pageant finals in Birmingham.

Shahid Akhtar from Batley Carr beat hundreds of hopefuls to make it to the final stages of Mr England which was held alongside the Miss England finals.
He received the joint highest number of public votes on the Mr England website in June and he was fast-tracked through to the finals.
The 22-year-old was named Mr West Yorkshire but the Mr England title was awarded to Mr Birmingham, Vaughan Bailey.
