Kobe: Outcry over Horsforth bar hours
Horsforth residents are calling time on a bar's proposals to try to extend its opening hours.
Kobe, on New Road Side, in Horsforth, has submitted an application to Leeds City Council to open for longer but there are fears that it would attract more drinkers into the area.

Residents living close to the bar have been sent letters from local councillors, who are outraged at the plans, to encourage them to have their say about the plans.
A planning application states that the bar plans to open from 8am until midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, 8am until 12.30pm on Thursday and from 8am until 1am at the weekend.
There are fears that drinkers from pubs on Horsforth's Town Street, which closes at around midnight, will snake their way through residential streets late at night to continue drinking on New Road Side.
Local councillor Chris Townsley (Lib Dem, Horsforth) said that it could also deter people from continuing their nights out in Leeds and opt to stay closer to home.
He said: "Town Street pubs close at about midnight but if there is a bar that's open longer what will happen is people will be able to continue to drink if they don't want to go into Leeds. There is no way I am having that so I feel particularly strong about this. The fight is on to make sure that we stop this at all costs.
"There are people living literally the other side of the hedge and
there is no way we would accept anything like this especially during the week."
Arc Inspirations managing director, Martin Wolstencroft said: "We have a licence to serve alcohol until 1am, seven nights a week.
"We are purely applying for planning permission to be within these licensing hours, which will lessen the impact on local residents.
"These hours have been discussed and agreed with the environmental health officer."
