John Smeaton Community College: Pupils fundraise for guide dog training
John Smeaton Community College are hoping to raise enough money to sponsor the training of a guide dog which will be named Smeaton.
School students Jessica Parker, Kim Alderman, Rebecca Parker, Emma Parker, Zac Holdsworh, Adam Hanson and Shane Hackett raised 460.30 towards the Guide Dog for the Blind Appeal by packing bags for customers for three hours at Sainsbury's Colton store.
