A spokesperson for the school said: "Every child's contribution on sports day matters regardless of ability. The children also help and encourage each other.

"Our sports day is a completely inclusive event – children, staff, parents, Cardinal Heenan past pupils, and the parish priest comes along to support. A real community spirit."
