Horsforth Harriers: Apperley Bridge Canter round up
The rain relented and the sun made a welcome appearance in time for the running of the 2009 Apperley Bridge Canter, organised by Horsforth Harriers.
The runners were treated to a pleasant evening following a day of heavy rain that left the 10K multi terrain course rather muddy underfoot in places.

Horsforth Harriers Race Director, Bob Foulkes, said "We are extremely pleased with the continuing success of the Apperley Bridge Canter, it is a relatively recent addition to the racing calendar, but it has obviously become very popular. Certainly we have had nothing but positive feedback from runners on the evening".
Horsforth Harriers now turn their attention to the Horsforth 10K road race held from the same venue on 27th September.
