EAST LEEDS HISTORY & ARCHAEOLOGY SOCIETY (ELHAS)

AIMS:

* To research, record and publish the local history of east Leeds.

* To carry out, and support such archaeological work as necessary to inform the historical research of the society.

* To work with the local authority, educational establishments, and local community organisations to promote knowledge of local history, and the preservation of local heritage.

* To promote and support educational activities for the local community.
