Christine Turner, music teacher at the Headingley-based school, said: "It's our first year in our new fully merged school. This is the end of our first year together and music has played an important part here.
"They have two music lessons a week, the head is very supportive of music and it has helped to bring everyone together. We have chosen all the children's favourite songs and the CD is hopefully something they will look back on in years to come."
The CD will be on sale for parents and families with the price covering the production costs.
Headteacher Anne Pickering said the idea was more to have the CD as a souvenir for youngsters.
"We are not expecting to make any profit, we have costed it as reasonably as we can to cover the production costs. It went really well. The children absolutely loved it and the engineer said we were the best behaved school he had been to."
Music producers School Recording Stars work with schools across the UK, recording school plays as well as making CDs.
A competition to design the front cover of What A Wonderful World was won by Isma Shahid of Year One.
