A man believed to be a 23-year-old Vietnamese was arrested at the premises and the plants seized for destruction.
Sgt Nathan Franklin, of the local neighbourhood policing team, said: "It is not the first time PCSO Robinson has made such a discovery while out in the local community.

"His experience of such establishments allowed him to quickly identify these premises as being used for cultivating cannabis and enabled colleagues to attend promptly before evidence could be disposed of or the suspect escape."
Sgt Franklin urged people to keep an eye out for properties being used as drug factories. Tell-tale signs include:
* An unusual smell;
* Boarded up windows;
* Deliveries of large amounts of electrical equipment;
* People coming and going at all hours.
In a recent nine-month period West Yorkshire Police seized more than 5,500 plants used to grow 'skunk' - one of the strongest forms of cannabis. The street value was estimated at up to 2m.
* Anyone with suspicions about a property can ring their neighbourhood policing team via 0845 606 0606 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
