Guiseley councillor to step down
A Guiseley and Rawdon councillor has announced he is not to stand for re-election next May.

Councillor John Bale (Con, Guiseley and Rawdon) has decided not to stand because of professional and family responsibilities.
Coun Bale has served the Leeds City Council ward for five years.
Guiseley and Rawdon Conservative chairman, Robin Rogers, said: "All of us in the local Conservative Party are grateful to John for his service to the party but more importantly to our ward and city."
