Georgia Dyke: West Park teenager models for Vogue
She's gone from West Park schoolgirl to siren and even modelled for Vogue.
As a 16-year-old Georgia Dyke was told by a shop assistant she had the looks to make it as a model and suggesting contacting an agency.
Two years later Georgia, now 18 and originally from West Park, is on the books of Select Models under the working name Bronte.
She has done campaigns for Mulberry, Burberry, Margaret Howell, Kew and Wallpaper, and even posed for legendary photographer David Bailey, above.
But the former Leeds Girls High School, who also went to St Aidan's in Harrogate, is studying for a degree in comparative literature and never let her career get in the way of her education.
She told the YEP: "I got 11 A*s at GCSE and three A levels in psychology, English literature and French.
"I'm now at King's College in London, but it's not that hard to fit my modelling career in with my education because I only have lectures and seminars on Tuesdays and Fridays.
"I'd like to be a journalist afterwards. I actually did some work experience at the Harrogate Advertiser last summer but I had to keep leaving to go to modelling jobs."
The 5ft 9in high-achiever has also got a Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award which led to Bailey photoshoot.
Georgia said: "It was for a feature called Women in Uniform. I wore a Girl Guide uniform because I that's when I got my award.
"The shoot was wicked. He came bumbling in and said 'Hi, I'm Bailey'.
"But he was straight to the point – he knows he's the best. I'd really like to work with Rankin as well."
Georgia has her own take on the controversy surrounding Kate Moss's comment this week that "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels".
She said: "Select make sure that all their models are healthy, toned but not skinny. When I first joined they pointed out the all the ins and outs of what you should be doing."
