Five Lanes Primary: Nature garden unveiled

They all had two legs on this occasion and were schoolchildren dressing up for the grand opening of their nature garden and improved school grounds.

Over the last year Five Lanes Primary School has invested in the school grounds to make a pleasant environment for the children.

The ground have been landscaped and they can now boast raised beds, quiet seating areas and shelters for the winter weather to come.

To complete the transformation the school were gathering to celebrate their new nature garden with an "Ugly Bug Ball."

Children arrived dressed in clothes with a green theme or as an insect and were able to have their faces painted.

Each class had a slot throughout the day to visit the nature garden. and the invitation was extended to all their parents.
