Crossgates Carnival 2007: Volunteers wanted
Organisers are looking to boost their army of volunteers in the run up to the weekend's big event.
More than 1,500 revellers are expected to turn out at Manston Park on Saturday (11am-3pm) to enjoy Crossgates Carnival.
Carnival organiser Karen Gray said: "We are on the lookout for more volunteers to help on the day. We have a lot of different activites on offer so any offers of help will be greatly appreciated.
"I would ask that anyone wanting to help out come and find me on the day and I will allocate them a job."
