Calves don't do things by halves down on the farm in Temple Newsam

The special delivery arrived a few weeks ago and it is a rare event for cows to give birth to twins, according to Debra Kerr, of Leeds City Council.
The chestnut brown calves are among eight breeds at the working farm and their debut is bound to be of high interest for youngsters during the forthcoming October half-term holiday.
Farm manager David Bradley said the new arrivals had swelled the 25-strong herd, and they would be a crowd-puller for the kiddies.
Debra said: "They are only the second pair of twins to be born at Home Farm for over a year, and they and their mum can be seen by those who visit the farm."
The calves will not be christened, though, because staff don't encourage children to get attached to the livestock on the working farm.

Other activities on offer during half term are cheese and butter making, blacksmiths' and joiners' shops, wool spinning, and rug making.
