Officers searched the area and arrested a youth nearby on suspicion of arson with intent and an unconnected breach of a court order.
In August last year in separate incidents two out of three CCTV cameras located in the Burmantofts area were substantially damaged by a vandal attack and put out of action.
The cameras were reinstated in June this year, at a believed cost of 20,000.
