The contest involves high schools from throughout inner and outer East Leeds.
The competition followed a summer of highly successful cricketing events for youngsters in East Leeds, funded by the Outer East Area Committee.
Children received expert coaching from the Yorkshire Cricket Club in Methley, Kippax and Whitkirk, with an average of over 100 local children attending each course.
Councillor Keith Parker (Chair of the Outer East Area Committee) told Kippax Today: "The match between Brigshaw High School and Temple Moor High School was a brilliant way to end a fantastic summer of cricket.
"It was a close run contest but Brigshaw came through to stop the reigning champions taking the prize home for another year. It was a real honour to hand over the trophy after the match.
"It has also been a pleasure for the Area Committee to fund the cricket coaching sessions that have taken place over the summer. Hopefully, some of the younger children will take part in the Yorkshire Bat competition once they get to High School.
"I have high hopes that we may soon see one of these youngsters from East Leeds donning their pads for Yorkshire – and potentially, eventually, getting capped for England! "
