Best foot forward for Farsley church windows
Parishioners at a Farsley church will be putting their best foot forward to help raise money to repair a 19th century stained glass window.
Members of the congregation at St John's Church, in Farsley, will be walking along the Leeds Liverpool Canal from Rodley to Bingley on September 11, to raise cash for the repair work.

The Friends of St John's project are trying to raise around 15,000 to restore the crumbling window above the altar, which dates back to 1843.
Christine Glover, a member of the Friends of St John's project, said: "People who live here going back hundreds of years have contributed to this church and paid for the windows.
"The Friends of St John's Project also need to raise a further 8,000 to pay for the restoration of the two smaller stained glass windows."
