It's a rum do as Leeds celebrates top tipple

Spirits are high this weekend as hundreds of people enjoy the tasty delights of the second Leeds Rum Festival.

Running in the Corn Exchange yesterday and today, the event has been organised by two of the city’s best-known bartenders – Samantha Fish from Mojo and Dan Crowther from The Hedonist Project.

Visitors are enjoying masterclasses with rum brands such as Diplomatico, Appleton and Pussers while there are also cocktail-making lessons.

Co-organiser Samantha said: “The weekend has been a roaring success, each of the masterclasses has been packed out and all received great feedback.

“There is a lovely, chilled vibe to the whole thing and we’d like to thank everybody for making it so. We’ll be back!”
