Pampered pooches need never have a ‘woof’ night’s sleep in a hotel again - thanks to a luxury Leeds venue’s new overnight package.

Oulton Hall’s Pooch Package will leave tails wagging by enabling dog owners to bring their furry friends away with them, safe in the knowledge they will be catered for and treated like one of the family.

Up to two dogs per room will be welcomed to the four-star 18th century former family mansion, with the package including a comfortable bed, tasty biscuits and a water bowl.

Once accustomed to the luxurious surroundings, it might be time to venture outside where the 300 acre estate provides plenty of opportunity for both man and best friend to explore.

And if the fresh air has helped you work up an appetite, owners of the classiest canines are welcome to treat their dogs to one of Oulton Hall’s juicy steaks from the venue’s restaurants.

Claire Steven, general manager at Oulton Hall, said: “We understand that dogs are part of the family, and that a trip away wouldn’t be the same without them so we put together our Pooch
Package.

“Now, the whole family can enjoy an indulgent weekend getaway, and the dogs get to enjoy a little bit of luxury too.”

Dogs can stay for a fee of £20 per dog per night. There are some terms and conditions.

The Queens Hotel in Leeds is also classed as one of QHotels’ dog friendly hotels. Others in Yorkshire include Aldwark Manor near York, Tankersley Manor in Barnsley and Forest Pines Hotel and Golf Resort near Scunthorpe.
