Inquiry into prisoner death

An investigation is underway following the death of an inmate at Leeds Prison.

Robber Joslyn Seaton, 27, was discovered “unresponsive” in his cell on Saturday, January 25.

A Prison Service spokesman said: ““Prison staff attempted CPR and paramedics attended but he was pronounced dead at 5.16pm. As with all deaths in custody, the Independent Prisons and Probation Ombudsman will conduct an investigation.”
