A touch of lifestyle luxury can now be indulged in during the lunch hour with a new offering from Harvey Nichols.

If you are headed out straight after work, have an important meeting in the afternoon - or just fancy a winter pick me up then head to the flagship store for a treat.

The girls on the Aveda counter, which specialises in hair, skin and beauty products, are on hand to give you a salon style experience without the need to waste your weekend waiting for an appointment.

Choose from a blow dry or a quick facial treatment such as a 30 per cent glycolic peel, complete with full consultation.

If you don’t have time but it is turning out to be ‘one of those days’ then maybe a neck or shoulder massage will do the trick to ease the stress.

The store even has a state of the art ‘scalp camera’ which can determine any skin issues and select the best product to match your skin and hair type.

The counter experts are asking that clients buy a product in return for enjoying one of the treatments, which are all being done at the Aveda counter in the ground floor beauty section at Harvey Nichols on Briggate.

Counter manager Carol Bradman said: “Come and see what we do and have some tea.

“People working in the city don’t have long but can have a blow dry or a treatment.

“We want people to come and take a moment for themselves.”

And it is not just the women that the service is being aimed at either.

With Leeds lads loving the personal grooming there are more and more products on the market and Aveda is launching a specific hair range for men in the next few months.

The counter is open every day 10am-7pm and for more information email: avedahnleeds@mail.com
