Footwear and clothing brand Dr. Martens caused a high street stir at its Leeds city centre store today.

In a one-off event, Dr. Martens offered two of its original styles, the Philips 4-eye Shoe in Oxblood and the Church Monkey Boot in black, synonymous with the 1960s youth tribes, at just £3 a pair.

Sian Hibbert, of Dr. Martens in Leeds, said: “The team was really excited for the event as it’s the first time we’ve done anything like this before. It’s also only happened in a select number of Dr. Martens’ stores across the UK, so was a great opportunity for Leeds shoppers to get hold of a timeless wardrobe item for so little!”
