Real Ale lovers will be able to raise a glass to the third Leeds International Beer Festival when it opens on Thursday.
The event, which combines beer, food and music, will take place at Leeds Town Hall and will include six ‘sessions’ across four days.
Beverages on offer will include beers brewed across the UK and beyond.
The festivals three large beer rooms will include the central Victoria Hall – where many of the UK beers will be kept – and a sci-fi inspired bar in the old Victorian cells of the town hall courtesy of North Bar.
There will also be a large outdoor street food market featuring national and international cuisine, three live music stages for bands and DJs and a games room with a bank of original arcade games from the 1970s and ‘80s.
Booze-hounds will be able to choose from hundreds of beers and ciders. Sessions will take place this week on Thursday from 5pm to 11pm, on Friday and Saturday from noon to 5pm and on Sunday from noon to 5pm. Admission is £7 per session. For info go to www.leedsbeer.com
