The search for the region’s most deserving doctors and nurses continues as nominations come in for the Yorkshire Evening Post Best of Health Awards.

There is still time to put forward top health workers in the region for recognition through the prestigious awards.

For the fifth year, the most dedicated and skilled people working in health, whether professionally or as a volunteer, will be honoured.

There are 10 categories including for community health workers, mental health staff, unsung heroes and teams. There’s also chance to recognise carers, emergency response workers and midwives and an incredible individual, team or family can be put forward for the special contribution award.

Nominate via www.jpeventsnorth.co.uk/yep/events/best-of-health-awards and the winners or by writing to Karen Goodridge-Cross, Yorkshire Post Newspapers, No1 Leeds, 26 Whitehall Road, Leeds, LS12 1BE. Mark your entry with the category and your nominee’s full name, job title, work address, telephone number and email. Also include your own name, address, phone number and email, as well as 200 words explaining why you have made the nomination.
