A Chapeltown charity has been given a funding boost to continue to hold its popular keep fit classes.

Feel Good Factor can now continue its Funky Body Fitness class at Roscoe Methodist Church Hall after receiving a £940 cash grant. The money came from Chapel Allerton councillors’ MICE funding pot and was given to the charity’s chief executive Corrina Lawrence. The classes aim to offer fun and easy ways to keep fit and tone up as well as an opportunity to make new friends and socialise.

Zobi Barok, community development wellbeing worker for Feel Good Factor, said: “We were going to have to stop these classes so it’s brilliant that this has enabled the class to continue.”
